It calls for careful study on the life of Cain, for the singular reason that God gave us a clear command not to be like him.
1 John 3:12. Don’t be like Cain. He was a child of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder his brother? Because the things Cain did was evil and the things his brother did had Gods approval.
